Wednesday 19 February 2025 (18.00 CET and 19.00 Libya Time), we’ll have the pleasure to host the third session of our monthly webinar Revisiting the History of Medieval Libya, 7^th-16^th centuries (year 2024-2025).

On Zoom, Ilyass Amharar (al-Qarawiyyin University, Morocco) will deliver the following talk : “Rewriting the ašʽarī creed in times of turmoil. Presentation and analysis of al-Ḫarrāṭ’s commentary of al-ʽAqīda al-Murshida, revised by his disciple al-Šaybānī al-Tarābulusī (14^th century CE)” (in Arabic)

Arabic and English will be available for summaries, chat and Q&A.
